| 30-RR organizes tour for farmers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 10 (KNS): Army’s 30 Rashtirya Rifles is organizing an educational tour for farmers of Qaziabad area of Kupwara district from October 8 to October 11.
According to a defence communiqué 24 farmers will be taken to different agricultural colleges and institutions in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Karnal, Delhi and Ajmer.
“The aim of this tour is to expose the farmers of the valley to latest developments in the agricultural technologies and help them imbibe the scientific advancements in the field of agriculture and related technologies,” it said.
“This tour will also be an opportunity for them to increase the awareness about world outside the valley and interact with people enabling them to identify with fellow countrymen,” the statement added.
