CM shying away from BI enquiry : NPSU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu. Oct 10: National Panthers Students Union today held a massive protest demonstration against Omar Abdullah, chief minister. Students of GGM.science College, Jammu gathered at Shaheedi Sthal and raised slogans against the state govt. The protests were led by Amit Singh Bhau, Jagdeep Singh (vice president GGM. Sc. College) and Jyoti Choudhary (NPSU leader). Addressing the students Partap Singh Jamwal (Provincial President NPSU) said that it was surely a blind murder case in which CM shows some kind of involvement. He said that CM had made only a judicial inquiry in that case if he is not the culprit he should transfer this case to CBI. He also said that we believe in judicial inquiry but why CM had problem with CBI inquiry although the family of victim wants CBI inquiry. He also said that the people who are protesting for CBI inquiry had been lathi charged by police which shows that this coalition govt. is working under pressure the law and order of state was abandoned. Jamwal alleged that being on the chair of, CBI will not be able to investigate properly because of the pressure of CM post. In this case there are some significant signs of the involvement of CM. from the statement of Omar Abdullah as it clearly shows that the state govt. is trying to put pressure on the CBI inquiry. Criticizing the CM for his silence in that case they burnt the effigy of Omar Abdullah and later they demanded that during the period of inquiry he should step down as CM. and Governor Rule should be governed.
