| Police recovered stolen mobiles, 2 held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 10:Udhampur Police claimed to have recovered stolen mobiles in a record time.
According to sources, police station Udhampur received an information regarding theft in a Mobile Shop at Shiv Nagar in which 19 Mobile Phones worth Rs 2 lakh approximately were reported to be stolen.
Immediately on receipt of this information, Udhampur Police swung into the action and arrested both accused identified as Sahil Gupta alias Sony son of Subash Gupta of Sambal Danga, Udhampur and Tarun Gupta son of Jugal Kishore of Devika Dakki Udhampur and made recovery of 19 Mobile Phones of different companies from their possession.
A case FIR No 251/2011 under section 380 RPC stands registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation of the case is in progress.
