| Inauguration of satellite based “Educomp Live” in Jodhamal School | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 10: In yet another milestone Jodhamal Public School has become one of the first ever schools in North India to enter into the world of Educomp Live i.e. “The innovative use of a very small aperture terminal technology” (V-Sat Technology). Educomp Live brings the innovative use of V-Sat Technology and is a revolutionary product through which children will get access to world class Education.
It offers various programmes for every participant in the school which includes students, teachers, management and parents.
The programmes are helpful to the child not only in academics but overall development including ability enhancement, guidance and inspiration which is very essential to succeed in today’s scenario.
The Chief Guest for the day was Air Commodore Nitin Sathe, Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Air Force Station Jammu. He formally inaugurated Educomp Live in the school premises by pressing the remote for the live show and the Educomp representative presented manual to the Chief Guests.
A live demonstration by Usha Albuquerque a renowned career counseling expert in India and Sanjeev Verma – an expert in Vedic Maths were the premier features of today’s programme. The students also had interactive session with Harish Raina the Regional Manager of J&K Educomp Live who enlightened the students about the smart class Modules that could help students both in academics and in CCE curriculum.
The Chief Guest, Air Commodore Sathe congratulated the school and asked the students to pursue good human values along with the use of technology. He also lauded the school’s initiative in opening newer frontiers of technology in class room teaching. The principal of the school Krishna Bhati also encouraged the students to make use of the smart class Modules to enhance their learning ability
