| Shopkeepers hold anti-police protest at Pacca Danga | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 10: A strong anti-police protest was tonight held at Pacca Danga after a shopkeeper was allegedly beaten by cops.
Official sources said Sanjeev Kohli, owner of Vasu Textiles, was standing outside his shop in Khilone Wali Gali, Pacca Danga, late tonight when Pacca Danga police post incharge came there.
There were heated exchanges between them over some issue after which Kohli was allegedly manhandled by the cops. This sparked off strong resentment among other shopkeepers who held a demonstration at Pacca Danga. When reports last came, efforts were being made to pacify them. |
