| BJP continues developmental works | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 11: Continuing with the development activities in the constituency, BJP national executive member & MLA Jammu East Ashok Khajuria alongwith Suchetgarh MLA Shyam Choudhary and district president Rajesh Gupta today inaugurated the completed work of tile laying of meat market to Sabzi Mandi area.
An amount of Rs 2 lac has been made available by the MLA from his constituency development fund (CDF).
Interacting with the residents and the public of the area, Ashok Khajuria said that it is his dream to make his constituency best urban area in the entire state.
He said that the tiling of the area of meat market and Sabzi Mandi would result in smooth and pleasant visit of the large number of customers who come where to purchase their daily requirements of vegetables etc.
Recalling the pathetic and most neglected condition of the area when a visit to it was a great ordeal, he said the whole area was always full of mud and garbage and even a light rain would render the whole area impassible.
He expressed the hope that the Jammu Municipal Corporation would perform its duty of keeping the Sabzi Mandi area clean and free from dirt.
He also assured the public of his full and total commitment to their well being and added that he has been putting his best efforts to ensure that the problems of the people are mitigated and each and every area of Jammu east is provided basic amenities. He said that any individual can call him or visit his residence any time in case he as any problem which can be solved by their elected representative.
Sunil Dogra, Anun Sethi, Subash, Viijay Mahajan, Inderji, Sat Pal Samotra, Tarseem Jain, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Amreek Singh and JMC JE Ramesh Koul were also present on the occasion.
