Vinod Pandits indefinite hunger strike enters 5th Day: Sunita Sharma 4th Day | APHCC constituted to fight for the cause; Vinod loses 5 kg weight; Sunita 4kg | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 11: With the government showing no inclination to address to the demands of the joint front of various Jammu based organizations agitating in favour of their 6-point charter of demands, the health condition of Vinod Pandit and Sunita Sharma is fast showing signs of acute weakness as they complete 5th and 4th day of indefinite hunger strike respectively. Vinod has lost considerable weight (5kg) while Sunita Sharma is also showing signs of weak health (lost 4kgs) as they complete 104 and 84hours of continuous fast tonight respectively. The non serious attitude of the government was discussed threadbare by all the party leaders supporting All Parties Migrants Co-ordination Committee (APMCC) lead indefinite hunger strike where it was unanimously resolved to constitute a joint front of all the parties to fight for the 6-point charter of demands with full force and invite other Jammu based parties to extend their support. The leaders constituted a new joint front under the name and style of All Parties Hindu Coordination Committee (APHCC) consisting of all the parties supporting APMCC in its fight to achieve the goal. It was resolved that this front would fight unitedly for the resolution of the demands put forth by the APMCC and accommodate any party that extends its support to the cause. The core committee was also constituted which consists of one member each from every party that extends support and joins APHCC and it was decided that no party will exist individually so that the focus is on the struggle rather than individual aspirations. It was also resolved that the constitution of a Temple and Shrines Board for entire J&K state will be stressed upon so that the neglected religious heritage at Uttarbehni, Purmandal, Shiv Khori, etc in Jammu and similar neglect of Hindu religious places in Kashmir will be taken up vigorously to end the clout of certain people on these religious places turning them into earning shops.
