| KEA deputation calls on Dy CM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 11: A deputation of Kashmir Editors Association headed by its President, Mr Rashid Rahi called on the Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Tara Chand here today.
The deputation put forth a charter of demands which include setting up of a separate Press Colony, Press Club and office and adequate residential accommodation to the media persons.
Giving patient hearing to the deputation the Deputy Chief Minister said that the government was keen to address the genuine demands of media persons and several measures have been taken in this direction.
Among others, Rashid Rahil, General Secretary, Nazir Ahmed Wani, Vice President, Shahid Rashid, Organiser. Dr. Rafi, Spokesperson, Feroz Ali, Secretary, Abdul Majid Mir Chairman Advisory Committee, Nazir Makdoomi, Treasurer, and Farooq Ahmed Wani also included in the deputations.
