| Workshop on fertilizer monitoring system held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, OCTOBER 11: A workshop to discuss the Mobile Fertilizers Monitoring System to ensure timely supply of the manures to this border district was held here today.
The workshop was organized by Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers Government of India in collaboration with the Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals limited, a major supplier company to the Jammu and Kashmir state.
The workshop, with participation from all stakeholders, including farmers and representatives from government agencies, cooperative societies, discussed in detail an effective monitoring system to be put in place to ensure timely supply of the fertilizers.
The workshop also highlighted the importance and ways for placing timely demand orders and surplus stocking in the district to meet urgent needs.
Those who attended the workshop included Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Rajouri, Chief Agriculture Officer, Rajouri besides representatives of fertilizers companies.
