JKAACL condoles Jagjit Singh’s demise

JAMMU, OCTOBER 11- The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu, in a meeting held here today mourned the demise of Ghazal Maestro Jagjit Singh who passed away on Monday.
Among others, Additional Secretary, Savita Bakshi and other staff members were present on the occasion. Paying tributes to Jagjit Singh, Bakshi described him as one of the greatest singer of India who gave new face to ghazals. “His death is end to an era” she added.
