| Armed forces Flag Day observed at GGHS Katra | | |

Armed Forces Flag Day-2006 was observed at Government Girls High School Katra, where the bravery of martyrs was recalled.
On this occasion, a function was held which was presided over by Headmaster of the school Mr Harish Dubey.
Speaking on this occasion, he highlighted the importance of day and appealed to the students and staff of their school towards contribution for this noble cause.
A contribution of Rs.1400 was collected as by the students and staff of the school for the welfare of the ex-serviceman, widows and their dependants. Stickers provided by the Zila Sainik Welfare Udhampur were distributed among the students as well as staff of the school.
