| DLSA organizes awareness camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 11- The Legal Literacy and Awareness Campaign team constituted by Principal District & Sessions Judge Udhampur, Mr. B.M. Gupta, who is also Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur organized a camp on “World Mental Health Day” at Village Badola, in which a number of Sarpanches, Panches, ASHA Workers, Medical Assistant People of Panchayat halqa Badola participated.
The other members of the campaign team including Advocate Swatander Dev Kotwal, Advocate Sanjeet kumar & Advocate Gulashan Kumar Shan of Udhampur Bar. They also made people aware about Section 91 of Mental Health Act 1987. They also focus on creating awareness about the mental illness, promoting mental health advocacy and spreading the message that the mentally ill persons are entitled to human rights and other legal rights, as persons living in the inherent diversity in the society.
