| Motivational tour for elders organized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 11 : A Motivational Tour under Op Sadbhavna for elderly people of Poonch comprising 29 elder people from remote villages of Surankote was flagged off today by Officiating Commander, Sector Rashtriya Rifles in a colourful ceremony held at Army Good Will School, Potha, Surankote.
The tour would be visiting Delhi, Ajmer, Sawai Madhopur and Jaipur in ten day time. The tour will visit places of historical and religious importance such as Rashtrapati Bhavan, Dargah Sharif Ajmer and tourist attractions like Ranthambhor National Park, Pushkar Temple, Hawa Mahal during these ten day.
The elders would also be provided an opportunity to interact with President of India, Partibha Devi Singh Patil during the tour.
Speaking on the occasion, Officiating Commander, Sector Rashtriya Rifles while flagging off the tour stated that the tour aims to provide the elders an opportunity to witness the development taking place in rest of India, which would act as a strong motivation to bring out changes in today’s evolving society in Jammu & Kashmir.
