| 74 Battalion CRPF Kishtwar to organize to organize T - 20 cricket tournament | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, October 11: Continuing its mission of diverting the energies of the youth towards the sporting activities 74 Battalion CRPF Kishtwar is going to organise T 20 cricket tournament from 12th of this month .
In this connection all the CRPF units of the Jammu region is sponsoring the local cricket teams of the area for this tournament and are also providing free kits , lodging and convince.
In this connection today CRPF Battalion 33 Bhaderwah organised a grand function here today at their headquarter to flag off a cricket team of local youth towards Kishtwar .
ASP Bhaderwah Roop Raj Bhagat , SDPO Jameel Ahmed , second in Command 33 Battalion CRPF Arvind K Singh , Tehsildar Bhaderwah Sudershan Kumar Salaria and Assistant Commandant Balbir Singh flag off the bus of the young cricketers towards Kishtwar .
On the occasion 33 Battalion CRPF also distributed free kits and dresses among the 15 players as a good will gesture .
Speaking on the occasion Second In command 33 Battalion Bhaderwah Arvind K Singh said “Cricket has a direct relation to the temperament of a player ... it can help in toning down the temperament,” he added.
He further said, “The situation this year has remained peaceful in the Bhaderwah due to the pressure mounted by the CRPF on the militants. He said that the aim of conducting these events is to find out talented youth in games and sports as it has been seen that Chenab valley youths are talented and have been doing very well in various games. He urged the participants to give out their best and also to maintain sportsman spirit in the competition. The tournament will conclude on October 15.
