| DDC holds review meeting at Ramban | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Oct 11: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban Shabir Ahmed held a meeting of the district and Sectoral officers of District Ramban in the conference Hall of the new district complex at Maitra here today.
He reviewed the physical and financial progress under various sectors for the period ending September 2011. Sectoral officers also apprised the DDC, about the issues related to their departments. During the review, it was observed that the departments like PWD, Power, PHE, Health, Education, Self-Employment, Horticulture, PMGSY, Social Forestry, Fisheries, Handicrafts, Agriculture and Urban Development have not registered expenditure upto the desired level.
DDC, Ramban laid stress on Sectoral officers to accelerate the construction/completion of the on-going projects/works especially taken-up under PMGSY, PWD & RGGVY and schemes under Health & Education sector for the benefit of the public during the current financial year utilizing the recourses recently made available to the extent of 100 percent of the current year’s approved allocations. He further emphasized that completion of the works and schemes should be taken-up on war-footing and in a missionary mode.
Meeting was attended by ADC Bashir Ahmed Khan, Ram Rattan, Chief Planning Officer, Ramban, SE, PMGSY, Batote, SE, Hydraulic, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other District/Sectoral Officers.
