| Several deputations call on Chairman Demarcation Committee | | |

Various deputations of Katra, Panthal, Sool, Kakeryal and Pamote areas of tehsil Reasi and Udhampur called on Chairman Demarcation Committee Dr Sudhir S. Bloeria who visited here today.
Nodal Officer for Reasi Mr Charanjeet Singh Jasrotia, Secretary of the Demarcation Committee Mr Verinder Gupta and Member of the Committee Mr S R Kapoor also accompanied the Chairman.
The deputations from these areas expressed their views in connection with attachment of their areas with the newly created district Reasi and some of them whose areas falls presently in tehsil Udhampur demanded that their area should remain attach with tehsil Udhampur, while still others some preferred for attachment with Reasi.
The deputations of Katra also demanded that post of Sub Divisional Magistrate be created for the town keeping in view its tourism and pilgrimage importance.
Among others President Municipal Committee Katra Mr Mulkh Raj Purohit, Tehsildar Reasi Mr Ashok Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Katra Mr Sanjay Badyal, Block Development Officer Reasi Mr Sushil Khajuria, local officers, political leaders, councilors of town, sarpanchs and Panchs were also present on the occasion.
