| Mehbooba visits shrine of Hazrat Noorshah Bagdadi | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Oct 11: PDP Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Party President Mehbooba Mufti today expressed grief over the tragic incident in which Ziyarat-e-Sharief of Hazrat Noorshah Bagdadi in Waltengoo Qazigund was damaged due to the fire incident on Monday. .
Party president, today visited the shrine to check out the extent of damage. She was accompanied by local MLA and deputy speaker Mohd Sartaj Madani. Mehbooba said that thousands of devotees from far off areas used to visit the shrine for blessing every year. Shrine stands as symbol of faith and mystic belief among the followers who used to pay their visit to the saint.
She said that this shrine is associated with divine perception among the followers which stand sacred in their faith. Emphasizing to take necessary and immediate steps for the reconstruction of the shrine, she assured the locals that she will seriously take this issue with the concerned officials and make every possible effort for the speedy reconstruction of the shrine. She also maintained that new construction should be on the modern lines with necessary arrangements including a fire service station.
