| Haj pilgrims hold demonstration | | |

About 80 Haj pilgrims from district Rajouri hold protest demonstration at Shahid-Chowk today and raised slogans against the administration for not providing them any facilities.
The pilgrim alleges that from Rajouri they came off their own and vehicle provide to carry them to Jammu broke down at number of places. No district officer or official saw them off at Rajouri. They said Govt is not taking any interest as for as Haj pilgrims fro district Rajouri are concerned, even at Jeddha pilgrims are being provided C-grade facilities. These pilgrims hold demonstration for more than 2 ours and were supported by the locals of the area.
On getting the information, Divisional Commissioner, Pramod Jain and Dy. Commissioner Hridesh Kumar visited the spot and made several efforts to pacify them. After great perevation and Div Commissioner Assurance, pilgrims were sent to Srinagar by air, and from these all the pilgrims will leave for Jeddha. All the expenditure of these intending Hajis will be borne by the administration.
