| DC Kishtwar inaugurates T - 20 Cricket tournament in Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 12: :- Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hussain Malik inaugurated 4 days T 20 Cricket tournament in Kishtwar District which was organized by 74 Battalion CRPF at Chowghan ground Kishtwar.In this tournament 8 teams from Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Udhampur Districts sponsored by various Battalions of CRPF will fight for the title on knockout bases. The final of this T 20 Cricket tournament will be held on October 15. The winner will be awarded with cash prize of Rs. 15000 and runner up team will be awarded with cash prize of Rs.10000.
While addressing the players Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar stressed for organizing more such tournaments in future so that more and more youths could be engaged in sports activities, which could be vital in promoting people to people contact beside help in promoting sports activities so that the local youths get boast and benefit from such activities.
Commandant 74 CRPF Battalion Baldev Singh, in his welcome address throws light on various programs organized by CRPF in Kishtwar District including carrier council camp under “Disha scheme).
On this occasion SP Kishtwar Bhim Sen Tuti, ASP Kishtwar Kublir Singh, GM NHPC Rajeev Hastu, officials of CRPF and members from sports organization and members from civil society were also present.
