| Inter school quiz competition organized by Romeo force | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 12 : Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force, Romeo organized an Inter School Quiz competition at Government Higher Secondary School Manjakote.
Children from 15 schools from remote and far flung areas of Gamir Mughlan, Kotli Kalaban, Sangiot and Thanamandi participated enthusiastically.
The function was inaugurated by Commanding Officer, Rashtriya Rifles who in his motivational speech exhorted that “General Knowledge and Intelligence is key to success”. Competition was organized for the school children under senior and junior categories.
Apart from the participating students, presence of parents, sarpanches, panch members and civil dignitaries made the competition a mega event. The competition culminated with distribution of prizes to five student of winning team of Government Higher Secondary School, Manjakote and five student of runner up team of Government Higher Secondary School Gamir Mughlan.
Nazeer Hussain, Principal in his speech expressed his gratitude towards the Army for organizing such educative and informative competitions .
