| HC stays sentence | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, October-12:- Justice Mansoor Ahmed admitted Criminal Appeal filed by Convict Shiv Durga Dayal who was convicted and sentenced to three years imprisonment by the Trial Court.
After hearing Advocate BS Salathia for the appellant, Court issued notice to the respondent returnable within four weeks. The court ordered that operation of the impugned order of sentence stayed provided petitioner executes bail bond to the tune of Rs 50,000 with two sureties of the like amount, however, this direction is subject to the condition that the appellant shall not leave the territory of the J&K state and shall remain present before this Court or any other Court as and when required t do so.
