Estates employees regret govt silence

JAMMU, Oct 12: All Jammu and Kashmir Estates Employees Association has expressed deep regret over government’s silence with regard to their demands.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that executive body of the Estates Employees Association held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Association President Prem Singh Bawa to discuss problems of the employees. Bawa who is also Vice President of the JK Peoples Democratic Trade Union Jammu said that the association had planned demonstrations and Dharnas to press for redressal of the demands while adding that it was after assurance of the authorities that demands will be considered by 10th of this month that the programme was postponed.
