| Lecture on Climate Change & Biodiversity organised | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 12:Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College in collaboration with J&K State Council for Science and Technology organized a Popular Lecture on the Topic “Climate Change and Biodiversity”, under Theme Science and Society on 11th October 2011. Dr. D.P. Abrol, Prof. and Head, Division of Entomology, SKUSAT was the resource person. Dr. Abrol delivered a highly informative lecture on the topic and he also elaborated the effect of climate change on the whole world with special emphasis on J&K state. The lecture was attended by the staff members and students of the college. Dr. Satinder Singh, Principal, Mrs. Shruti Khanna, Nodal Officer, J&K DST and staff including Dr. B.D. Sehgal, Prof. Vishal Sharma, Prof. Vipul Saraf, Prof. Venus Sharma and Prof. Surinder Singh were also present.
The Programme was initiated by DST committee and the vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Vishal Sharma, member DST Committee.
