| NIA launches major hunt to trace out missing laptop of Dr Waseem | | Probe in Delhi High Court blast | | Asif Iqbal Naik
KISHTWAR, Oct 12: National Investigating Agency (NIA) probing Delhi High Court blast has launched a major hunt to trace out the missing laptop of Dr. Wasim Akram Malik accused in Delhi Court blast, the laptop of Dr. Wasim Akram Malik went missing after his arrest by NIA at IGI Airport New Delhi.
According to reports, NIA team who went to Dhaka in connection with inquiry into the blast case found laptop of the accused Dr. Wasim Akram Malik missing during the search of his rented accommodation in Bangladesh by NIA officials. The sources said that NIA believes that the laptop of the accused will provide some vital clues regarding the perpetrators involved behind the Delhi High Court blast. The sources said that NIA have also made some rough sketches of 5 Bangladeshi nationalist who were believed to be involved in execution of September 7,2011blast outside the Delhi High court. The sources said that all the sketches were formed on the instance of accused Dr. Waseem Malik presently in custody of NIA till October 22,2011. As already reported, role of 5 Bangladeshi nationalist surfaced during investigation by NIA in connection with Delhi High Court blast case. The sources said that there is remote possibility that the NIA will release the sketches to the media. The sources said that NIA has asked some students of Kishtwar pursuing MBBS from Bangladesh to appear before the investigating agencies to unveil some facts pertaining to accused Dr. Wasim Akram Malik. In such similar attempt, Dr. Wasim Rashid Sheikh son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh Resident of Sangrabata Kishtwar has been called in by NIA at Delhi for questioning and confined his passport and mobile phone. The sources said that Dr. Wasim Sheikh in Bangladesh resides inside the same building complex in which Dr. Wasim Akram Malik use to reside. The sources said that NIA wants to quiz Dr. Wasim Sheikh regarding the activities of accused Dr. Wasim Akram Malik, beside this the NIA also wants to know from Dr. Wasim Sheikh about the peoples who use to visit Dr. Wasim Akram Malik at his residence in Bangladesh. "As off now there is nothing adverse against Dr. Waseem Rashid Sheikh, what NIA wants from Dr. Wasim Sheikh is know about the person or persons who use to visit accuse Dr. Wasim Akram Malik in Bangladesh." NIA sources said. The sources said that during investigation at Kishtwar Dr. Wasim Rashid Sheikh cooperated very well and to ascertain some facts, he has been asked to report NIA office at Delhi. The sources said that NIA also want to show some sketches to Dr. Wasim Rashid sheikh for identification. The sources said that NIA will also want to know that if any person visited the room of accused Dr. Wasim Akram Malik after his arrested, beside they will also quizzed him about the missing laptop of Dr. Wasim Akram Malik.
Meanwhile unconfirmed reports said that after preliminary investigation NIA have released the three Bangladeshi nationalist detained by them few days ago. It is worthwhile to mention that NIA has so far arrested 3 persons including teenager Abid Hussain Bhawani, Amir Abbas Dev and Dr. Wasim Akram Malik all resident of Kishtwar District. Amir and Abid were accused in sending terror email, whereas Dr. Wasim Malik is accused in execution of blast. |
