| Lok Adalat, legal awareness camps organised in Ramnagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Oct 13:-In order to bring justice at the door steps of people in Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur Tehsil Legal Services Committee Ramnagar is organising a legal awareness camps and a Lok Adalat in the remote Basantgarh area of tehsil to cut down the judicial backlog.
The camp is being organized under the aegis of Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Ramnagar.
According to TLSA a legal awareness camp for women and child care protection is being organised at Majori village of tehsil Ramnagar on October 24 while with the aim to bring speedy justice at the door step of rural masses a Lok Adalat would be organized at remotest Basantgarh area of Ramnagar tehsil on Oct 25 . Both the programmes will be held under the chairmanship of Chairman TLSC, Ramnagar, Sub Judge Sandeep Kour.
Meanwhile, the chairman TLSC has requested the people in general, children and women of Majori in particular to participate in the awareness camp to take benefit from it . She also urged the litigants whose cases are pending in the court of Sub Judge Ramnagar and want their settlement in the Lok Adalat being held at Basantgarh to approach the Sub Judge Ramnagar by or before October 23, 2011 so that their cases could be referred to Lok Adalat timely. TLSA also informed that the next Lok Adalat would be held on November 9.
