CS reviews Durbar Move arrangements | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Oct 13 : Chief Secretary, Madhav Lal today directed the heads of the Departments observing annual Darbar move to ensure proper and foolproof arrangements for transfer of records and office paraphernalia to the winter capital of the state. Taking stock of the arrangements put in place for annual Darbar move at a meeting here today, the Chief Secretary asked the heads of the departments to monitor the process and ensure implementation of the decisions taken for smooth conduct of Durbar move. The Chief Secretary called for sensitizing advance parties regarding proper receipt of the records and opening of the offices at Jammu. He also stressed on adequate arrangement of vehicles for durbar move employees and load carriers for transfer of official record. He directed the Estates department to ensure accommodation for move employees highlighting the importance of cleanliness of the colonies and provision of necessary facilities of power and water supply. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Home B R Sharma, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, B B Vyas, Principal Secretary Housing, Suresh Kumar, Commissioner-Secretary, GAD, Mohammad Syed Khan and other senior officers.
