Dr. Guntipalli, V.R Prasad, Professor in the department of Geology University of Jammu has been selected by the society of Vertebrate Paleontology, Northbrook, USA, for the prestigious “ Society of Vertebrate Paleontology Preprator’s Grant Award” for the year 2006. He got this rare honour in recognition to his excellent work in the field of Vertebrate Paleontology. Amidst several nominations for the award, Dr. Prasad stood out as the overwhelming choice for this distinguished award.
Vice Chancellor, Teachers, Officers and the staff members of the University of Jammu have congratulated Dr. Prasad for this rare achievement.
