| Free eye check up /operation camp held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 13: Social Welfare and Dev. Committee Kishanpur Dungara organized its 18th free eye check up /operation camp in collaboration with health dept. and sponsored by the State Bank of India branch Billawar .
SDM Billawer Jatinder Kumar Singh IAS inaugurated the eye camp.
In this camp 139 patients were checked and fifteen were operated for cataract by Rajeev Sharma and Rajni Gupta eye specialist conducted the operation in the SDH Billawar and Kamal Singh and Raj Singh assist the doctor's team.
R.K. Chopra Chief Medical Officer Kathua and JP.Singh Block Medical Officer Billawar were also present.
R.K Chopra CMO Kathua and SDM Billawar addressed the people and appreciated the role of organization (NGO) for organising of 18th free eye camp and they also assured full cooperation to the voluntary organisation for the promotion of such type of camps for the benefit of the elderly people', Joginder Singh manager SBr branch Billawar was also present.
SP Sharma welcomed the Chief Guest and guest of honours and peoples and highlighted the achievements of the committee especially in the field of organisation of continuously organising eye camps since 1983 in coordination with district administration and in collaboration with health dept. and he thanked all the persons and people who extended full cooperation in this regards.
