Shanti Bhushan be prosecuted: SS
10/13/2011 10:29:11 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 13: Jammu witnessed massive and strong protest and demonstration by people led by Dogra Front and Shiv Sena
In the protest president Shiv Sena Ashok Gupta demanded registration of FIR against Shanti Bhushan and arresting him.
He said that Shanti Bhushan statement tantamount to boost moral of separatist forces, terrorist, anti Indian Forces.
“We condemn those who attempted assault on Shanti Bhushan advocate and member of Anna Hazare Committee. But want to know as to how any Tom, Dick and Harry wants to test patience of India? Why Anna Hazare who got mass support over corruption by taking national flags in their hands remained mum over the derogatory statement issued by Shanti Bhushan over demand of plebiscite over accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India said Shiv Sena President Ashok Gupta.
We have freedom of expression but expression doesn't mean to exceed the limit granted by constitution of free India. Accession of J&K with India is complete and irrevocable. No person like Shanti Bhushan can raise any dispute which is settled by parliament of India by unisonous resolution by 1994 over Kashmir and also endorsed during Shimla agreement.
Thrashing of Shanti Bhushan is not the answer, FIR must be lodged against him and immediately Shanti Bhushan be arrested and detained under law.
Shiv Sena and Dogra Front President Ashok Gupta in a statement appealed to Anna Hazare that they extended support to Anna Hazare on the issue of corruption but demanded clarification by Anna Hazare over Kashmir Issue.
