| PNB embarks upon an ambitious plan to sell gold in J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 15:PNB has come out with a Discount linked scheme for sale of GOLD COINS in the entire state with immediate effect. The sale has been launched through various branches of the Bank and purchaser can avail discounts ranging from 2% to 6% on a single day purchase depending upon the aggregate weight of Gold Coins purchased.
Ashok Gupta, Deputy General Manager, Circle Head J&K Operations informed that adequate stock of Gold Coins have been procured for sale during the forth coming festival season and subsequent days as well. To begin with, Bank has established Gold Coin sale counter at Gandhi Nagar, Shalamar Road (Jammu Tawi) and Trikuta Nagar branches of Jammu city and it is proposed to extend the same to the other branches especially in Kashmir valley, he added.
Gupta added that the 24 Carat Gold Coin with 999.9 fineness are available in 5, 8, 10, and 20 grams denomination in tamper proof packing with assay certified number. These Gold Coins are manufactured from PAMP refinery of Switzerland with PNB Logo as sign of trust & Banking relationship, he added.
