| First Industrial unit established in Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar October 14: The TATA Motors have established its 1stAuthorised Service Station at Industrial Estate Complex at Sangrambhata Kishtwar, after providing the proper and modern training to mechanics at specialized workshops of country, the service center was inaugurated by an elderly Educationist and Social WorkerKhushi Ram Sen. Former R&B Minister and MLA Inderwal G.M. Saroori was guest of honor. the function was attended by various officers and locals of Kishtwar District.
The Govt. after conducted a survey to finding out the cause of frequent accidents in which it was pointed out that most of the accidents occurred due to non maintenance of the vehicles by the operators , since 90% of passenger vehicles running in this mountainous region belongs to TATA group . It was impressed upon to the TATA Motors to establish a fully equipped and modernized service station at door step of the operators. After discussing the issue finally the TATA Authorized service station under the name and style of M/S Royal Automobiles Kishtwar has been established at Kishtwar with the active financial support from Government.
In an impressive inaugural function, Bharat Bhushan Sen former Chief Engineer PDD and proprietor of the service station said that this is 1stService Station of its kind in Kishtwar, where all kind of service and repairs of TATA made vehicles can be done and all spare parts are available here. This unit has also given employment to several un-employed skilled /unskilled youths.
