| Small Contractors Association expresses concern over headless R&B Division | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar, October 14: The General Secretary of Small Contractors Association Kishtwar Ram Krishan Sharma expressed his concern over the plight of contractors and urged upon Chief Minister of J&K to intervene into the paralysing condition of an working division of PW(R&B) at Distt. Headquarter Kishtwar, being an mother division has become now defunct, because from April 2011 it has remained headless due to the lack of attention of esteemed government and paramount authorities. The working division has been put to odd and hardships owing to deteriorating the standards of developmental activities, only for the very reason of non posting of any Executive Engineer there .
He further said that during the visit of Dalia Lama to Paddar , some work was got executed on war footing basis being essential in nature , but the contractors are still without full and final payment despite of lapse of more than one year. He urged upon the Govt. to post a permanent Executive Engineer in this division to save the division from any kind of further hardships.
