| 35 Kg Bhuki recovered from fruit truck, two arrested | | |

The team of Chanderkot police during routine checking under SHO Nazir Ahmed Dar arrested a driver along with conductor of a truck No. JK14 A-3079, carrying 35 Kgs of Bhuki, coming form Srinagar to Jammu. According to reports the Jammu bound truck was fully loaded with fruit boxes. During checking police persons noticed some foul coming out from the boxes, while opening they found Bhuki hidden inside. Police immediately arrested the driver Manzoor Ahmed s/o Abdulla resident of village Seri, Ramban conductor, Arhsad Ahmed son of Ahmed of Duligam, Banihal. During interrogation they told due to land slide they were hold up on National Highway.
A case u/s 8/15 NDPS Act is registered against them.
