| 2 drug peddlers detained under PSA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 14: Two notorious peddlers have been detained under public safety act
by district magistrate, Kathua.
They were identified as Purshotam Kumar alias Hukki, son of Sain Dass of Kathua and
Manga Ram alias Mang, son of Girdhari Lal of ward No 11, Kathua.
While Hukki was allegedly involved in five cases of drug peddling, Mang was involved in
six such cases, according to police sources.
They were detained under PSA by the Kathua district magistrate on the basis of
dossiers prepared by Kathua police.
Both of them were alleged to be part of an inter-state drug smuggling racket for the
past few years.
