J&K struggles against Haryana | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Sports & Allied News SRINAGAR, Oct 14: Hosts Jammu and Kashmir struggled against Haryana after the visitors took 10 runs lead with nine wickets in hand on the opening day of the four-day Under-22 C K Naidu Cricket Tournament started today at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here. When the stumps were drawn, Haryana were playing at 185 for one in reply to J&K’s 175 all out in the first innings. Earlier, Haryana won the toss and opted to field. They succeeded in their game plan and bowled out hosts on a small total. Amresh Chowdhary ripped through the battling line of J&K taking away six wickets. From J&K, Bandeep Singh was top scorer with 51 runs while Siddharth and Gokul contributed 39 and 22 runs respectively. In reply, Haryana plundered runs at will and scored 185 runs losing just one wicket. Deepak Rachariya scored 68 runs. From J&K, Owais claimed one wicket.
