JAMMU, Oct 14: Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School and SOS School completely dominated the show sharing most of the medals between them in all the three age groups of girls’ inter-school judo competitions of Jammu district, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) University of Jammu (JU), here today.
While Shastri Memorial had clean sweep in two age groups of under-14 and under-19, SOS school performed well in under-17 category.
Today’s bouts were officiated by penal of experts from DYSS including Varinder Sharma, Raman Sharma, Jyoti and Satika under the guidance of ZPEO, Chanchal Kour.

Under-14 yr: Below 23 kg: Sakshi Gupta, Shastri Memorial, Ist. Below 27 kg: Komal Mangotra, Dewan Devi School, Ist; Muskan Mahajan, KC International, 2nd. Below 32 kg: Akriti Sharma, Shastri Memorial, Ist and Anshika Bhagat, KC International, 2nd. Below 36 kg: Skashi Sharma, Ist and Bhumika Mahajan, MHAC, 2nd. Below 40 kg: Arpita Puri, SOS, Ist and Priksha Sharma, Shastri Memorial, 2nd. Below 44 kg: Rashika Wali, SOS, Ist and Ralguni Singh, Jodhamal Public School, 2nd. Above 44 kg: Shikha Bhau, SOS School, Ist and Ankita Rani, Shastri Memorial, 2nd.
Under-17 yr: Below 36 kg: Arohi Khajuria, SOS School, Ist; Shriya Jain, Shastri Memorial, 2nd. Below 44 kg: Ishma Wazir, Shastri Memorial, Ist and Mehvish Marwaha, SOS School, 2nd. Below 48 kg: Yashika Jamwal, Shastri Memorial, Ist and Hemanshi Nagri, SOS, 2nd. Below 52 kg:Sanjana Manhas, SOS School, Ist. Below 56 kg: Mehak Pandita, SOS School, 2nd.
