JKIP merges into JSM
10/14/2011 9:29:45 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 14: Jammu State Morcha(JSM) welcomed the decision of Jammu & Kashmir Inqlab Party(JKIP) of dissolving the organization and merging it in Jammu State Morcha along with all its office bearers, executive members and general members. JSM whole heartily hailed the farsighted decision of the Executive Committee of Jammu & Kashmir Inqlab Party taken with the realization that people of Jammu province, irrespective of their religion, caste and creed can only get justice and honourable place in a separate Jammu State.
In a separate Jammu state they shall be the master of their own destiny, shall have freedom from Kashmiri domination, discrimination and humiliating treatment.
Abdul Gani Aftab, the president of JKIP had floated the Inqlab Party, after getting disillusioned and dissatisfied from the working of other political parties like N.C, Congress and PDP which have only paid lip service to the cause of Gujjar and other downtrodden and backward communities.
Gani appealed to the people of Jammu province, particularly the Gujjars and Muslim community to shed their reservations about the separate Jammu state and about the Jammu State Morcha and join the Morcha to fight untidily against the Kashmiri misrule, hegemony, highhandedness and discriminatory treatment.
The following members of the executive committee of Jammu & Kashmir Inqlab Party were introduced by Gani who along with others are joining JSM, Ch. Bagh Ali, Ch. Ali Akbar, Mohmd. Gafoor 4. Bashir Ahmd, Ch. Rashid Ali, Manzoor Hussian, Mohmd. Latif, Ali Hussain, Mohmd. Hanif, Meem Hussian, Mohmd Hussian, Dev Raj Bhagat, Mohmd. Shafi and Dev Raj Sharma.
Adrsseing the media Prof. Virender Gupta welcomed the new entrants in the organization and emphasized that JSM works on the high ideals of Humanity, Secularism, Equality, Brotherhood, Unity and Justice.
“We are sure that with the joining of Abdul Gani Aftab along with all the members of Jammu & Kashmir Inqlab Party the Morcha shall get a boost and people from the other sections of the society of Jammu province shall also join the Morcha in its struggle for a separate Jammu State. The today’s event may prove to be a mile stone in the struggle”, he said.
JSM while reacting to the statement of the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah about the with drawl of Disturbed Areas Act (DAA) and Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) from some areas of J-K, observed that it shall be extremely difficult for the security forces to deal with militants who have launched a proxy war on the behest of Pakistan and have nothing at stake, in the absence of AFSPA. The recent encounters and increased attempts of infiltrations from across the border do not call for this move on the part of Chief Minister.
Among those who attended the Press Conference are H.B.Khajuria, Brig (Retd.) Anil Gupta, Chandra Uday Sharma, Prof. Davinder Sharma, Varinder Mohan Magotra, Surjeet Singh, V.D. Dogra and Vishva Bandhu Gupta.
