JAMMU, Oct 14:
Women Development Cell of Govt MAM College organised Mehndi Competition' to mark the occasion of 'Karva Chouth'. Seventeen teams participated enthusiastically in the contest, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes was clinched by Sakshi Mthawan student of BCA Part II, Palomi student of PG Maths and Sanam Deep Kour student of BCA Part " respectively. The performance was adjudged by the Jury members comprised of Prof. Rama Badyal, Prof Harpreet Kour and Prof Ravinder Kour.
Principal of the College Prof Ajeet Angral lauded the efforts of Women Development Cell for organising such an innovative event. He congratulated the participants for their active participation and advised them to participate in various activities being organised by the cell in future. The entire programme was organised under the supervision and guidance of Prof Shobha Gupta and Prof. Anju Bala. Other present on the occasion are Prof Neena, Prof. Neetu Singh, and Prof. Sushma Chib. Prof. Neetu Raina Prof Mousami Raina and Prof .Shivani.
Staff and Students of the College were all together in different kind of mood today as such competition organised for the first time in the College.
