| Bhaint-Devotional songs’ audition begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 14:
A three day Bhaint-Devotional songs audition was inaugurated here at K.L Saigal Hall, Jammu. This was a joint venture organized by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages with Nami Dogri Sanstha- The Art Foundation, Jammu. This audition of three days commencing from 14th of Oct, 2011 and shall culminate on 16th Oct, 2011 and is further divide into two categories Junior Group (between age 12 to 17 years) and Senior group (between 18 to 35 years). The top three positions will win Rs 10,000, Rs 5000 and 3000 in Senior group whereas Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000
Savita Bakshi Additional Secretary (Jammu) inaugurated the event and while speaking on the occasion she threw a detailed light on the subject matter for the knowledge of the participants, she also wished them success in the field.
Surinder Manas, Vishal Gupta and Dr. Chanchal Sharma were appointed as judges to adjudge the top positions in the two categories.
