| Majboori held on opening day of dramatis Fusica 2011 | | | EARLY TIMESREPORT
Jammu Oct 15: “ Majboori’ by Luxmi Kala Manch opened today on the first day of the theatrical competition entitled Dramatis Fusica 2011 that is being held at performing Art studio by Nav Durga Kala Manch..
The one act play based on a social theme of a family problem was enacted by Tarun Sudershan Vasson, Deepak Jamwal and Tarun Sharma who performed the theme with great ease.
The gist of the act included a conversation between a man and a policeman on a rainy night wherein the man who is alone son of his ailing mother relates the ups and downs of the life of his family.
The man had left his house to fetch medicine for her ill mother and is stopped by the heavy downpour at a roadside wherein he is joined by the cop, both of whom discuss their respective problems while the man is informed about the demise of his mother.
This leaves the man in the hapless condition who also turns into a lunatic with life too playing hide and seek with him.
Tarun Sudershan Vasson and Deepak Jamwal as the Cops and Tarun Sharma as the man played to their potential best in Majboori which was written by Aaditya Bhanu and directed by Tarun Sudershan Vasson.
Sudhir Mahajan, senior drama instructor, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages was the chief guest on the occasion.
The plays being performed for Dramatis Fusica 2011 is in the series of the competition organized at performing art studio that would witness ten short plays, one each daily.
Vikram Sharma, the renowned stage director and artist and Santosh Sangra, the senior most female stage artist as the adjudicators of the event which would be adjudicating the event for various categories.
Rajneesh Gupta, the prominent writer of the state is giving moral support to the event.
Ganesh Studio (Atul Sharma) Gandhinagar is sponsoring the show.
It is pertinent to mention here that Aaditya Bhanu, the pioneer of Friday Series has mooted this competitive event which has been widely praised by the people.
Tomorrow, Biwi-O-Biwi , a hilarious comedy by Ranghboomi would be performed at the same venue
