| PDP welcome political workers in party | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 15 : Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti today welcomed several political workers who joined the party.
In a statement Mehbooba said the move is in positive direction of strengthening the party’s base at ground level. “Day-by-day the acceptance of the PDP’s political ideology among the politically conscious citizens is increasing. Our political philosophy is based on the equitable development of all the three regions of J&K and our comprehensive self rule document is a testimony to the fact that beside political solution we speak of economic empowerment of the state,” she said.
“This realization is growing among the masses and there is a large consensus among the Diaspora that PDP stands firm on the principle of safeguarding the dignity and honor of the people of J&K,” Mehbooba added.
The PDP president said PDP’s base was growing merely on merits and realization of achievable goals among the people. “The sole motive of our party is the welfare of all the three regions of J&K and is a strong determining factor which motivates masses for the acceptance of our principles, ideas and beliefs,” she said.
Among the worker who joined include Updaish Kour Bali, Ranbir Kour, Bopinder Kour, Narinder Kour Bali, M.M Maqdomi, Shahid Mohammad, A R Wani and others.
