| J&K women lose to Delhi by 47 runs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Oct 15: J&K women suffered yet another defeat in the hands of Delhi after hosts lost the league tie by 47 runs in the ongoing North Zone Inter-state Women’s Under-19 tournament here today.
Despite a brilliant bowling performance from Rabiya Syed, who took five wickets, J&K could not restrict Delhi from raising a competitive total of 148 in 48.4 overs of the 50 overs match.
Later, in reply, J&K could make only 101 runs after the whole side bowled out in 27.2 overs. Sadiya remained the top scorer with 22 runs.
