| Soan Kashmir appalled over maltreatment | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 14: Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) has said that Kashmir is an Integral part of India and no force on earth can snatch it from India.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that a meeting of the office bearers and members of Soan Kashmir Front was held here today under the Chairmanship of its President, Shadi Lal Pandita. While speaking in the meeting, Pandita said that Kashmiri Pandit is original inhabitant of Kashmir suffering exile for last twenty one years; as such an appeal has been made to the government for providing proportionate share of Kashmir to Kashmiri Pandit community.
Pandita has said that Kashmiri Pandit community despite migration from Kashmir valley and during these 21 years of exile they could not get properly rehabilitated, as such Kashmiri Pandits are very much interested in their rehabilitation in Kashmir valley but at the same time these Kashmiri Migrants are unable to live in their native villages/localities, as such need has arisen to give proportionate part of Kashmir valley to the Kashmiri Pandits for their rehabilitation.
Participants have said that the Kashmiri Pandits have not migrated from Kashmir valley on their own accord but it was the prevailing circumstances due to militancy which forced the Kashmiri Pandit community to leave their homes and hearths. As such they have made an appeal to the Government of India for forming a strict law for providing safe and secure rehabilitation to the Kashmiri Pandit community so that they may not have to migrate from valley again.
