| HC directs Commissioner/Secretary H& UD to appear in person | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, October-15 (JNF):- In a petition filed in 2004 the President Managing Committee Pipleshwar Shiv Mandir had challenged the order of the Minister for Housing & Urban Development allotting land to Jammu Club without keeping in consideration the religious sentiments involved.
Justice JP Singh of J&K High Court today after hearing advocate Amit Gupta for the petitioner and advocate Adarsh Sharma for the JDA, observed that Commissioner/Secretary Housing and Urban Development Dept, Srinagar has not filed his affidavit in terms of the court order dated July 25, 2011 followed by orders August 1, 2011 and September 6, 2011 and issued notice to the Commissioner/Secretary to appear in person in the Court.
