SIEF organizes painting competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 16: Today activist of SIEF organized a painting competition to save the environment at Barwal village with the aim to create awareness about the hazards of crackers among the young generation under the supervision of Director of the organization Suresh Kumar. In this programme 60 students in the three different groups participated. In the first group Mehak Jasrotia got the first position, Ridhima Sharma got the second position, Manzil Sharma got the 3rd position. In the 2nd group Akshita Jasrotia got the first position, Marvi Khajuria got the 2nd position, Kanav Billowria got the 3rd position. In the 3rd group Sayam got the first position, Omesh Kumar got the 2nd position, Mohit Singh got the 3rd position. In this programme Sunil Sharma chairman of the SIEF was the chief guest and Sarpanch's Shiv Dev Singh Jasrotia, was the guest of honour . While interacting with media the chairman of the organization Sunil Sharma said that this type of competition creates awareness among the young generation about the hazards of crackers which creates pollution in our atmosphere. As our atmosphere were polluting due to global warming chairman appealed the young generation not to use crackers to save the environment on Deepawali. As Deepawali is the festival of light. On this occasion Sarpanch Shiv Dev Singh Jasrotia guest of honour appreciated the step taken by SIEF. In this regard and said that every assistance is given to the SIEF.
