| Congress only can solve problems of people: Soz | | | EARLY ,TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 16 Pradesh Congress Committee president and MP Prof. Saifuddin Soz Sunday said that Congress party alone could solve the difficulties of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Congress party’s perception is that service to the people is essence of politics. People that they should come forward to strengthen the Congress in the state,” Soz said while addressing a gathering in Delina Baramulla.
He promised to the people that he would take up the issues of construction of a bridge between Dharpora and Doabgah (Sopore), provision of fire brigade station, sports field, provision of first aid centre and proper drinking water to the area with the concerned authorities.
Prof Soz was accompanied by Minister of Health and Horticulture, Sham Lal Sharma vice president J&K PCC, Ghulam Nabi Monga and other leaders of the party.
On the occasion he welcomed five sarpanchs and panchs and 30 political activists into the party’ fold. Soz told them to join movement organized by the Congress party in Jammu and Kashmir for sincere service to the people.
Later Prof Soz, Sharma and Monga addressed a widely representative gathering of Sikh Community at Dak Bunglow Baramulla and assured the Sikh Community that their demands being genuine and Congress Party would seek justice for them.
