| 4 timber smuggler arrested in PP divn | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 16 Forest officials arrested four timber smugglers on Sunday and seized more than 20 cft timber from their possession in Pir Panjal Forest Division.
The forests officials also seized four horses from them which were being used in smuggling of timber.
The arrested smugglers include Amin Lone, Zahoor Ahmad Khan and Nazir Paul. They were arrested in Sukehnag Range on Saturday evening.
The smugglers were later handed over to the police by the forest officials. The latest campaign against the smuggling has been launched by the DFO Pir Panjal Firdous Ahmad who recently took over.
