C K Naidu Under-22 Cricket Tournament | J&K fights back against Haryana | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Oct 16: Showing their bold face, hosts Jammu and Kashmir played some unexpected innings to salvage some pride against Haryana in the ongoing CK Naidu Under-22 Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here today. On the third-day of the play, J&K resumed their innings from overnight score of 47 for one and surprised the visitors by adding 280 runs thereby reducing the overall lead to 29 runs with two wickets in hand. When the stumps were drawn, J&K were playing at 327 for eight in 104 overs. While Owais played magnificent innings of 85 runs, Siddharth Magotra and Shubam Khajuria contributed 54 and 56 runs respectively. From Haryana, Sonu Rathee clinched four wickets while Yathart Tomar bagged two. Earlier, in their first innings, Haryana raised a big total of 531 runs declared in reply to J&K’s 175 runs.
