CM, wife express grief over Manzoor’s demise
Renzu describes Hakim great poet, writer

Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mrs. Shameem Azad have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of veteran poet, Journalist and writer, Hakim Manzoor, author of so many poetic works.
Chief Minister and his wife, Shamim while condoling the death of Hakum Manzoor highlighted his contribution in the field of literature and poetry. They described late Hakim as one of the modern poets who used medium of poetry not only for the sake of literature but also reflected various aspects of state and its people through this medium.
Chief Minister and Mrs. Azad has conveyed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Mr. Manzoor also great contributioned in the state administration where he rendered his services in various capacities. He headed the department of education and worked as District Development Commissioner besides Resident Commissioner of the state at New Delhi.
Mr. Manzoor’s poetic works in Urdu like ‘Na Tamaam, barf ruton ki Aag’ lahu Lamas Chinar are some of popular works.
Meanwhile, Department of Information and Public Relations also condoled the demise of a renowned poet, writer and editor, Hakim Manzoor at a condolence meeting held at Jammu today which was presided over by Director Information Kh. Farooq Renzu.
Highlighting various brilliant aspects of Hakim Manzoor’s life and carrier, Mr. Renzu paid rich tributes to him and described him a great writer and poet. He conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace of departed soul.
