NPSU protest against government’s dual policy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 16: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) today staged a protest demonstration against the ongoing administration of the state govt. at press club, Jammu. The protest was against the arrogant behavior of state govt. towards students who have passed their respective degrees other than Jammu University, Kashmir University, IGNOU and DOEACC. Taking a serious note NPSU provincial president Partap Singh Jamwal said that the state govt. does not approved the degrees of the students from other universities while that universities were recognized by UGC, the funding of that universities were also under UGC than why state govt. does not approved the study of that universities while an individual registration number is given to students by university. According to the notification made by state govt. on higher education 2009 notified HE/Recog-80 PVT. Coll/PCR/02, Dated 10-7-2009 it is notified that the students who are perusing education from those universities are recognized by the state govt. but now they are not being considered by state govt.
